How to Donate
eBay Selling for Cancer Fund for Children
Did you know that you can now support Cancer Fund for Children through online auction site eBay, whether you’re buying or selling?
When you’re grabbing a bargain on eBay, you can make a donation by selecting Cancer Fund for Children as your favourite charity during the checkout process. It’s that easy – donations are sent directly to Cancer Fund for Children from the checkout via eBay’s charity partner, Paypal Giving Fund.
Adding that little extra to your purchase will help us to continue providing support to families living with cancer at a time when they need it most.
You can also support us through eBay by selling your items and nominating a percentage of the proceeds to Cancer Fund for Children.
eBay allows its sellers to gift an amount of their sale profit to Cancer Fund for Children and other charitable organisations. There’s benefits for the seller too – eBay for Charity listings feature a blue and yellow ribbon, to let buyers know that their purchase will be supporting a charity and your items will also be featured on NICFC’s eBay page – giving your items greater promotion too!
Reduced seller fees are another advantage of eBay for Charity. The basic insertion and final value fees will be discounted at a value equal to your donation. So for donating 20% of an item’s selling price, eBay will waive 20% of your fees for that item, a 50% donation will reduce your fees by 50%. Plus, you know that you are raising money to support families living with cancer in Northern Ireland – everyone’s a winner!
